Terms of use
Use File Requests only for permitted, task-relevant material that you have authority to share.
A file handoff
A requester selects one My Drive folder, creates an upload-only link, and shares it independently. An uploader can send accepted originals without an account. The link does not give access to previous uploads or the destination folder. Anyone holding an open link can use its available upload budget.
Delivery and checks
File-safety checks can reject unsupported, encrypted, uninspectable, executable, macro-enabled, or malicious material. A delivery result confirms provider creation; it does not certify file contents, verify uploader identity, or establish checklist completion. If scanning or provider authorization is unavailable, delivery remains pending or is rejected.
Responsibilities
Confirm the destination and its existing sharing settings before sharing a request. Keep sensitive details out of the public title and instructions. Do not request or send prohibited sensitive material, infringing content, malware, or anything you lack permission to disclose.
Limits and availability
This is a limited free pilot with configurable size, count, expiry, rate, and storage limits. Requests can be closed, expired, or disabled. There is no billing or guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Reconnect an authorized Google account when asked; there is no automatic fallback destination.
Before production use
The operator must publish its legal identity and approved final terms, privacy, retention, and support information before live collection. This implementation notice is not a claim that those release approvals have been completed.
